Through the Safer Detergents Stewardship Initiative (SDSI), EPA's Design for the Environment (DfE) Program recognizes environmental leaders who voluntarily commit to the use of safer surfactants. Safer surfactants are surfactants that break down quickly to non-polluting compounds and help protect aquatic life in both fresh and salt water. The Design for the Environment Program has identified safer alternative surfactants through partnerships with industry and environmental advocates. Earth Friendly Products is recognized as a Champion Partner, having demonstrated and documented the fact that we only the manufacture products using safer surfactants.

Our ingredient label is the best validation of the environmental purity and sustainability of our formulas. However, we understand the industry's need for reputable and unbiased thirdparty evaluation and recognition. We've identified the EPA's DfE program and the USDA's BioPreferred program as the most reputable and unbiased long-term partners to evaluate and recognize our products. Additionally, we have garnered the American Culinary Institute's Gold Performance Award for citrus cleaners.
